We were in Dresden in August 2020. After the first time we went to eat there, we made a second reservation. Very tasty food. Nice and good service. Nice ambience. Clear recommendation !!

We managed to get hold of a small table in a cozy corner ... Great food ... be careful! nothing for the small hunger .. .. service nice .. beer delicious .. an absolutely well-rounded thing 👍

Very nice restaurant. The service was very friendly, the food was also very good and came very quickly. The menu mainly features hearty dishes, some from the GDR. The ambience and the decoration were good. Maybe you should make a reservation, we got there pretty early and got a seat straight away, but after that it got full.

Very good food in Dresden's Neustadt. The great inner courtyard invites you to sit out. Very friendly staff. We passed here by chance on our city trip. It was a precision landing, so to speakland. Definitely to try, the tasty natural cloudiness. Thank you, and liked it.

Great gastronomy with memories from back then. Like everything good in Neustadt, this gem is hidden in the inner courtyard. Friendliness is also very important here, as well as the appetite that you should bring with you. With great drinks, delicious food and with loved ones around you, everything fits here, including the price.

Finally a Saxon meal. It's a shame that the people of Dresden neglect their own food culture so much. As a South German, you have to do some research on the Internet to be able to eat well in Saxony. The planned economy offers that. I also get pizza, tappas and the like at home.

Nice "beer" garden, the food was good and a lot of the schnitzel, the sour meat contained a little too little meat and the potatoes were too fatty. Service very nice!

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food. The beer and the food are very good. The service is very friendly. Sometimes a cat comes by to look after the guests. Please do not feed.

Quaint pub in the GDR style. Selected delicious dishes as in the past. For me personally but slowly too fat in terms of price. It tastes good - no question about it, but the prices are simply too high for schnitzel or noodles with hunting sausage.

Good place always great to come back for lunch

The service was super friendly, quick and attentive. There is a great selection of beer including a GDR full beer. The food was very tasty. There are down-to-earth German dishes here, which are spiced up with small variations. Price-performance ratio was right. We would come back anytime.

Friendly staff, typical German food. If you like classic German dishes, this is a nice place. Large, heavy portions typically. Service is good and place is nice enough.

Already my second visit and again completely satisfied this time. Now that the temperatures are rising, you can sit in the wonderful garden area, which is illuminated very idyllically in the evening. The restaurant specialists, like on the first visit, are very friendly, courteous, competent and witty. You always feel welcome there. The kitchen specialists also do a very good job. The dishes are extremely tasty and make something for the eye. A wonderful place, located in a back yard, where you can linger and relax.

Typical cuisine from DDR times. The quality of the ingredients depends on the choice. This place is one of the oldest Kneiper/Pub in Neustadt and is currently the last that offers Brunch Buffet. Unfortunately the staff kind of likes to have the place as empty as possible. Don't feel surprised to be denied a table even if there are several available.

If you're looking for classics from the GDR to eat, you've come to the right place. Tastes like mom, down-to-earth very tasty cuisine. The service was very nice and attentive. The wild garlic risotto was very good and my tomato spaghetti with sausage pieces (typical GDR) was also very good. Price performance is right. Nice cozy courtyard. The restaurant is in the trendy Neustadt where life is on the street. This district lives from its, admittedly partly dingy, yet charming character.

Nice takes on classic German dishes. Their garden patio is a great setting. The menu is seasonal; I enjoyed the summer chilled tomato soup greatly. The schnitzel was also good.

Great DDR Style

Atmosphere and decor very imaginative and cozy. Food tasty and nicely presented. Unfortunately the portions are too small for their price. As a woman you just get full of it, but unfortunately not as a man, which can make the visit a bit more expensive if you have to order another dish. I ordered the vegetarian cabbage rolls, which consist of a cabbage roll filled with beetroot and potatoes and divided in half, which is in a light tomato sauce.

Slightly expensive compared to other restaurants in dresden but you can find special dishes. Also nice to find seats even in friday nights. Staff is helpful, they also speak english

Highly recommended! The waitress is friendly and polite. She explained everything for me coz they don’t have English menu for lunch, and she probably is the nicest person who works at restaurant I’ve ever met in Dresden. The meal she recommended was perfectly delicious!

Overall OK experience. Good Was just OK.. Nothing special... I tried the soljanka soup and I love soups. But I have to say was a bit disappointed with it... But overall I guess it Is worth to give it a try

Famous german schnitzel and spaghetti. Reasonable prices and friendly staffs.

Perfect breakfast

I really enjoyed the #9, in English, the Tomato spaghetti with diced sausage and grated cheese. It also had onions.

Great beer garten and great beer, traditional german food

The schnitzel with fried potatoes, as pictured, was excellent. Nice secluded back garden patio, excellent beer, and nice staff. They even have an English menu. They take visa and mastercard and they are the first of 5 restaurants I've been to in dresden that take credit cards. Most only seem to take euros.

Friendly staff, generous portions, tasty food, varied selection and cosy interior...was fab!

We have been there for the Filmfest Dresden and searched for an regional restaurant around the corner. The Planwirtschaft was a great choice, not only they have delicious food - I recommend the Bauernfrühstück (farmer breakfast) - they also have nice drinks and lemonades (Mate!). We will come back!!!

Excellent breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday. Reasonably prices. Delicious old style dishes back from east Germany (DDR) times. Has also a outside terrace in the backyard.

A very lovely restaurant which is old traditional with a modern twist. Beers and food were delicious and came out a good time. Very child friendly, and great service. I enjoyed my steak with mustard hollandaise sauce a lot. Good wine list, my favourite wine malbec was also available. I'd definitely come back here. Very very nice, must visit.

Food are delicious and the service is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, they also have bar on the ground floor.

I recommend this 100% it's a great place with friendly staff that serves tasty food and drinks. Relaxed vibe. Great value for money
